It was the turn of the Juniors on Tuesday 3 June and once again there were many fine performances from the Baston girls. The outstanding success of the afternoon was from Bethany Year 4 who jumped 3.69metres in her age group Long Jump event. This turned out to be the longest jump of the day in all of the age groups. She will also be representing London South in the National Championships at Birmingham.

SPORTS DAY SATURDAY 28 JUNE 2008
Sports Day was a glorious day attended by a large number of parents. The athletics was of the highest class and the splendid lunchtime fair was enjoyed by all. The day raised over £2000 for PA funds.
BASTON ROSE BOWL
The annual under 12 lacrosse tournament took place at Baston on Saturday 15 March. In spite of a bad weather forecast the day remained pleasant and even sunny at times. This year we were pleased to welcome teams from Benenden, Dulwich College Prep School, Dunottar, St George's Weybridge and Walthamstow Hall.

Three Cheers! This year the tournament was played as a round robin and the eventual winners were Dunottar who hold the Rose Bowl until next year's tournament.
Mini Tennis Red Tennis Team of Two Kent Finals The Kent Team of Two Mini Tennis Red Finals were held at West Heath on Sunday 9 March. Olivia Bateson & Lily Evans from Year 2 and Jaspreet Sheera & Daisy Mills from Year 3 had previously qualified for these finals. Both pairs played a mixture of singles and doubles and played a very high standard of tennis. Jaspreet and Daisy won their way through to the semi finals where they had a very close match and narrowly missed gaining a place in the Final. Congratulations girls!
