FEES

Fees are due on or before the first day of each term.  Fees unpaid after the first day will incur

late payment surcharges and interest.  If any fees remain unpaid at the beginning of half term,

the girl will be asked to leave the school until such time as any outstanding amount has been

settled.  Arrangements can be made for the fees for the year to be paid in twelve monthly

instalments and details of this procedure can be obtained from the school Bursar.

Every attempt is made to maintain the fee structure for the whole of an academic year and

increases are kept to the minimum required to maintain our standards of teaching, class

sizes and facilities.

A full term's notice is required before a pupil leaves the school or discontinues an extra

subject.  This notice, in writing, must be received on or before the first day of the term prior to

any change being made, otherwise a term's fees in lieu must be paid.  In the event of the

suspension or expulsion of a pupil, there can be no refund of fees.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

Several awards may be made to girls entering the Senior School at eleven plus, based on the

results of the entrance examination and subsequent interviews which are held each year in

January/early February.  These awards are subject to an annual review depending upon the

girls' performance in school.

PROTECTION SCHEMES

The absence of a pupil from school does not lessen the cost of running the school.  We

regret, therefore, that it is not possible to refund fees if a pupil is away from school for any

reason.  We advise parents to take advantage of the school fees protection scheme.  This

enables parents, subject to certain criteria, to be reimbursed fees if a pupil is away from

school due to sickness, accident or quarantine.

The school also participates in private medical and personal accident schemes.  Both the

latter are operable during term time and the school holidays.  The termly charge will be added

to parents' accounts unless we receive written notification to the contrary.

All items of personal property that are brought to the school are the responsibility of the owner.

Senior school girls are provided with secure lockers.  The school accepts no responsibility

for loss or damage to personal property and carries no insurance to cover such losses.
