Have you noticed the new sign outside the front of the school?  Baston House School is preparing to open in September 2010.

The Principal of the new school for autistic children is Steve Vincent and he will be working full time in the school from 1 June as he prepares for the first intake of pupils in September.

Work will shortly be starting creating some new toilets in West Block and additional toilet facilities in Orchard Block.  Some new fencing around the perimeter of the school will also be erected.

At the moment Baston still looks much the same as it did on the last day of the summer term 2009.  Do come back and visit on Saturday 12 June when, once again, the Hayes Fair is being held in the school grounds between 12.00 noon and 4.30 pm.  Come and see us on the BBQ!!
