THE FUTURE OF THE SCHOOL SITE

After negotiations lasting many months the bulk of the school site (main building, cottages, West Block, Orchard Block, pavilion, top field, tennis courts and outbuildings) has been sold to Hillcrest Care Limited for Hillcrest Autism Services.  They are proposing to set up a school for children with autism using the existing buildings.  They currently propose to open in September 2010.

It is hoped that, in the fullness of time, a Baston Museum can be created somewhere on the remaining parts of the school grounds so that former pupils, parents and ex-staff can visit to relive their own treasured memories.
